A Coruña

A Coruña is a sea side city.
It takes about 45 min. by train from Santiago de Compostela.

There is a nice town hall.
you see, the color of roofs is very beautiful, isn't it.

The cathedral with detail sculptures is nice,
but such a simple church is also nice, I think :)

The signal for pedestrians in Spain looks strong...

You see...

He has a powerful physique, especially his upper arm... looks very strong...
I bet he is stronger than japanese one ;)

pulpo

"Pulpo" means octopus in spanish.
The sound is funny, isn't it? :)

I found three pulpo signs in pictures which I took...

No.1
pulpo 1

No.2
pulpo 2

No.3
pulpo 3

I like no.1, because it's somewhat cute.
What do you think?

Santiago de Compostela

It was a nice stay at Santiago de Compostela.
There is a nice cathedral.
I liked the old town very much.

There were a lot of seafood.
So I enjoyed it very much.
Once I tried a paella...

Many kind of seafood, shellfish, calamari, shrimp, and so on, were included in that.
The taste was excellent!!!
I want to eat that again...

in spain

I took a train at about 5:00 a.m., it is very early morning... to leave for Spain by an airplane today.
I arrived at Santiago de Compostela via Madrid in the afternoon.
After I checked in my hotel, I walked around and bought mineral water and some snacks at a shopping center.
The weather is not so hotter than I thought but cool.
So it is comfortable for going around.
Then I went to a spanish restaurant to take a dinner.

The interior design of the restaurant is very interesting.
It is like an inside of an old wooden ship.

galeon

I took a fish plate.

It was not so expensive, but it was a bit big-portion for me...
